To provide culturally-aware mental health care services to the diverse Latin communities within Sacramento County. To provide a place where the Latin community can begin to heal collectively and individually. Whether seeking care or providing it, all who enter our doors will be treated with profound regard for their cultural identities and lived experiences. Through our culturally-aware, trauma-informed approach, we aim to foster an atmosphere of understanding, validation and empowerment for the Latin communities in our region.

We aim to establish an organization that breaks down barriers to accessing mental health care for our Latin communities. Financial constraints, lack of multilingual and culturally aware providers, or absence of insurance coverage will not impede one's ability to receive the mental health services they need. Our leadership and service providers will understand and reflect the lived experiences, traditions, and nuances of the Latin communities we serve. This is a space curated by and for our people - a sanctuary of healing and personal growth guided by those who share our identities and backgrounds. We will uplift our Latin communities by ensuring representation and voice at all levels, enabling culturally grounded care that promotes self-determination and well-being holistically.

Renacimiento Psychological Services (RPS) is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of Clinical Psychologists. In the future, we aim to provide comprehensive training for doctoral students and aspiring professionals, equipping them with the skills to thrive ethically and competently in the field of psychology. RPS emphasizes trauma-informed and culturally grounded practices, ensuring doctoral students develop a nuanced understanding of working with diverse Latin communities.
Moreover, we prioritize holistic professional development by imparting valuable lessons in self-care, time management, and advocacy. Doctoral students will be empowered to preserve their well-being, set boundaries, and utilize their voices as future leaders in the mental health field. Our training will extend beyond clinical expertise, nurturing the critical traits of self-efficacy and assertiveness needed to advocate for themselves and their clients. By fostering a growth-oriented environment, RPS will aim to produce culturally-attuned psychologists who uphold the highest standards of care for the communities they serve.
